CVS Health® is the Official Retail Pharmacy Partner of the American Cancer Society, deepening the relationship between the leading health care innovation company with the leader in the fight against cancer.

CVS Health Heart in Hands

CVS Health® has been a supporter of the American Cancer Society since 1990. Their longstanding partnership includes the American Cancer Society providing tobacco-control expertise and support to CVS Health’s Be The First initiative, the company’s five-year, $50 million commitment to helping deliver the first tobacco-free generation. CVS Health and the American Cancer Society have helped 97 colleges and universities advocate for, adopt, and implement 100% smoke- and tobacco-free campus policies, impacting more than 1.4 million students.

Between August 4-24, 2019, CVS Pharmacy customers – online or at 8,000 locations nationwide – can honor and support those affected by cancer by donating at the register to the American Cancer Society. Donations will directly support the American Cancer Society’s breakthrough cancer research, free rides to treatments, free lodging near hospitals, and live 24/7 cancer helpline.

Through our commitment to the American Cancer Society, we’re able to support more cancer survivors on their journey and reduce the number of cancer deaths, including those related to smoking and tobacco use.

Eileen Boone - Senior Vice President, Corporate Social Responsibility and Philanthropy, CVS Health and President, CVS Health Foundation

Through this deepened relationship, we can do more to attack cancer from every angle. We can provide education, promote prevention, and help patients throughout their cancer journey. Our combined reach and ability to connect with the people across America means we can help consumers, patients, and caregivers receive the helpful information, programs, and resources they need.
