We are the
We’ve experienced cancer first-hand. That’s why we strive to understand and comfort anyone impacted by it.
We Guide with Empathy
And Help Patients Navigate The Overwhelming Journey
We understand that a cancer diagnosis is terrifying and overwhelming. That’s why our Patient Navigators are trained to listen to patients, guide them along their journey and connect them with the resources they need – whether it’s help with financial challenges, rides to medical appointments, or even being at their side as they get treatment.
“We’re there to be that shoulder to lean on.”

We Match Survivors with Newly Diagnosed Patients
Reach To Recovery® Provides One-On-One Support
Sometimes the best support comes from someone who has been through a comparable experience. The Reach To Recovery program pairs breast cancer patients with volunteers who had similar diagnoses and treatment plans to provide more personal, one-on-one support.
Survivor Explains How the American Cancer Society is Different
“They can take you to get chemo, they can give you a wig, they can give you information…they know how to get out of that hole.”
We Bring Survivors Together Online
Cancer Survivors Network is an Online Support Community
Our Cancer Survivors Network provides a safe online connection to find others who have similar experiences and interests. Members can join chat rooms and build their own support network of CSN members.
